音樂營#1：音樂與正念

《瞬．樂團–結構與即興第二回》首個音樂營結合爵士樂的即興元素與正念體驗，為一眾藝術工作者、愛好者提供一個與內在對話的空間。清空腦袋，平靜心靈，把藝術融入生活，令自己的「身」、「心」重新接軌，探索創作的可能性。

 

在繁囂的社會，不論從事藝術或是其他工作，都難以避免被社會節奏及期望牽着走，缺少靜下來沉澱的時間和空間。爵士樂有着豐富多元文化歷史，除了是藝術反映生活的絕佳例子之外，音樂背後更蘊含着一種以人為本的融洽精神。

 

是次音樂營將進行一系列正念及音樂即興體驗，包括冥想、茶藝體驗、香氣工作坊、禪繞畫和色彩工作坊等。通過爵士樂以及多元藝術媒介，參加者打開感觀，並與不同界別的藝術創作者交流。

 

在連續兩天的日間音樂營後，我們亦將舉行晚間音樂會，由工作坊導師及本地音樂人帶來不一樣的爵士樂演出。歡迎公眾購票出席。

The first Music Camp of “Ensemble Transience: Composition & Improvisation—Encore” integrates the elements of improvisation of jazz music with mindfulness experience, offering a chance for art practitioners and art lovers to carry out a conversation with their inner selves. Empty your head and calm your mind, welcome arts into your everyday life. By reconnecting body and mind, we explore the possibilities in art-making. 

 

Amid the hustle and bustle of our city, regardless of one’s occupation, it is not uncommon to find oneself being overwhelmed by the city’s fast pace and expectations from the society. We lack the time and space to slow down and reflect. While jazz represents a rich and diverse history, it is not only an example of how art reflects life, but more importantly, embraces the spirit of harmony and people-orientedness. 

 

This Music Camp introduces a series of mindfulness and music improvisation experiences, including meditation, tea ceremony, fragrant workshop, zentangle, colour workshop, and more. Through jazz music and various media, we invite participants to open up their senses, and carry out exchanges with practitioners from different backgrounds. 

 

In conjunction with the two days of Music Camp, there will be an evening concert, with a local line-up of workshop facilitators and other musicians. Tickets will be available to the public.
